There are 3 common types of diesel
injection systems on New Zealand vehicles.
Straight out mechanically injected….no
tuner available for this type.
Electronically controlled pump driven like
Nissan Patrol 3.0L, Rodeos & Landcruisers (VP or Digi Z tuner)
Common Rail. Most of the new generation
diesel engines manufactured are Common Rail to meet current emission
standards and provide the best performance. The tuners for these engines are
simply plug in and drive, the hardest part is popping the bonnet and finding the
appropriate plug!
